The Sagola 4600 HEX is a lightweight, gravity-feed refinishing gun engineered for fast color lay-down and glass-level clear coats.
Its HEX system™ fluid nozzle pre-atomizes material to deliver a flat, balanced fan with uniform droplet size—so you hit target film builds with fewer passes, less mottling, and minimal texture.
Built from anodized aluminum with stainless wetted parts and PTFE seals, it’s made for daily booth work in automotive and industrial shops.

Pro Setup Tips
- Start at ~2.0 bar inlet, fan wide open; trim pressure to the lowest that achieves your finish.
- Keep perpendicular travel and consistent gun speed to maximize transfer and avoid dry spray.
- For waterborne or hot/dry booths, step up tip size +0.1–0.2 mm and slightly round the fan to load the core.

General work: 1.4–2.2 bar (20.3–31.9 psi). HVLP reference: ~1.8 bar (26 psi). Never exceed 4 bar max.
Which tip for base vs. clear?
Common picks: 1.20 / 1.20 XL for base & waterborne; 1.30 for higher-build clear. Match to product viscosity and booth conditions.
How do I keep it in spec?
Clean after each use, lightly lubricate moving threads, and use OEM parts. Solvent-resistant internals; avoid halogenated solvents. Warranty: 3 years.

I absolutely love my sagola 4600 hex! It saves on materials but doesn’t sacrifice speed, and it’s extremely well made and durable. I like how well it atomizes clear coat into finer droplets for a smoother finish and I also enjoy that the gun itself doesn’t weight a ton. I also really like how easy it is to clean.
